Major international luxury brands have spent over 30 million euros this year alone for new openings, enlargement or refurbishment of their stores in Milan’s Via Montenapoleone, the leading luxury shopping avenue in the metropolis. During the upcoming Milan Fashion Week 19 – 25 September, among the brands inaugurating their brand new flagship stores are: Cartier, Christian Dior (women’s store), Breguet, Bruno Magli (corner with Via Manzoni) and Burberry (taking over the space formerly occupied by Corneliani).
The adjacent street of what is called Milan’s ”quadrilaterro” are also vibing with new store openings: on Via Spiga – new Belstaff flagship; Prada and Chopard reopen refurbished stores / on Via Sant Andrea – opening of refurbished Moschino / on Via Verri – Cruciani (second store after the one on Via Manzoni) / on Via Corso Matteoti – Just Cavalli (brand new store – repacing Hugo Boss).
Among the last inagurations this Fall will be the brand Versace Collection mono-brand store on Via Corso Matteoti and Dolce Gabbana’s Kids store which replaces the D&G (discontinued line) on Corso Venezia.
