Versace confident about future double digit growth
With the occasion of the Milano Unica event, Versace Group CEO Gian Giacomo Ferraris, confirmed the company registered in 2011 double digit growth, without indicating specific figures. In 2010, Versace Group registered a 9% increase in its turnover reaching 293 million euros. Ferraris also confirmed he expects a double digit growth trend for 2012-2014 despite the financial turmoil in Europe.
In 2011, Versace opened mono-brand stores in Prague, Seoul and Istanbul, while future major openings include Paris and New York – Soho district. In January, Versace returned to Paris’ Haute Couture with Versace Atelier, while the Young Versace and Versace Collection Donna have seen significant sales increases.
