Valentino opens new flagship store in Rome, Italy

The new Valentino store in Rome is located on the iconic Piazza di Spagna, steps from the iconic Spanish Steps and the Valentino HQ in Piazza Mignanelli.  The store is spread over 15,876 square feet, and marks an evolution of the store concept created by Valentino creative directors Chiuri and Piccioli with architect David Chipperfield, first unveiled in Milan’s Via Montenapoleone in 2012.

“The boutique has a symbolic value, it’s in the most central square in Rome near our headquarters, and the city has always been a source of inspiration for us,” said Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director of the brand with Pierpaolo Piccioli. The store will be officially inaugurated July 9 when Valentino will host its Haute Couture show in Rome.
