Trapani steps down from operational role at LVMH’s watches and jewelry division

After less than two years and deteriorating performance of most brands in LVMH‘s watches and jewelry division, Francesco Trapani is stepping down from his operational role as head of the division. Formerly CEO of Bvlgari which was acquired by LVMH in 2012, Trapani remains on the board of LVMH. Trapani’s role will be split by Antonio Belloni who will be in charge with jewelry (Bvlgari, Chaumet, Fred and De Beers) and Jean-Claude Biver, who will oversee Hublot, Zenith and Tag Heuer.
