TOD’S to launch e-commerce by the end of the year

Luxury leatherwear group TOD’S announced the launch of its own e-commerce operations starting November this year. Unlike many other Italian luxury brands such as Zegna or Armani which have opted to work with a major online specialized retailer such as Yoox, TOD’S is developing its own e-commerce sales. Tod’s Group which is owned by Italian Diego Della Valle recorded a 17,1% growth in its first quarter of 2011, reaching a total of  243,7 million euros.
