Tod’s inaugurates a new manufacturing plant in Italy

Tod’s has inaugurated a manufacturing plant in Italy’s Arquata del Tronto, town hit by 2016 earthquake. The unveiling of the plant, which will employ 50 people and produce shoes, was attended by Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni.

Tod’s owner Diego della Valle and his family invested 10 million euros in the project, according to sources.Tod’s own headquarters in Casette d’Ete are located 68 miles away from Arquata.
