The Curio Collection by Hilton has debuted its first property in France with the Grand Hotel Des Sablettes Plage in the Provence Alps Cote d’Azur. Designed by Stephanie Lelievre, the new outpost is housed within a restored 19th-century structure perched above the beaches of Les Sablettes in the coastal city of la Seyna sur Mer.
Housing 75 refurbished guestrooms and suites, including the 2,153-square-foot presidential suite, the interiors feature a mix of modern and classic décor influenced by the legacy of the building. All spacious accommodations are appointed with an espresso machine, open bathroom, and a spyglass to maximize ocean views. A leather travel chest holds in-room minibar amenities.
The Grand Hotel Des Sablettes Plage is also home to three onsite eateries such as the all-day, indoor-outdoor venue La Galerie; the al fresco concept Le Navigateur; and the gastronomics-inspired Horizon. The city’s Spa des Sablettes by Nuxe is equipped with indoor and outdoor pools as well as a hammam, sauna, whirlpool, terrace, and fitness center. The hotel ballroom accommodates more than 350 guests, while three meeting spaces fit a combined 600 people.
