Supreme opens second store in New York

Following extensive talk in the blogosphere for weeks on end, Supreme has opened a second outpost in New York City, but this time in Williamsburg. the store occupies a former factory building constructed in 1910 and still features plenty of original industrial details. it’s a voluminous building, featuring 3,750 sq.ft. [approx. 348 sqm.] of ground floor retail space and less than half of that in the basement which can’t be accessed.

The façade has been renewed, and now features a large window and glass entrance door, allowing in floods of daylight, as do four large skylights up on the roof. The Supreme merchandise is presented in shelving and clothing racks lining the freshly stuccoed lower wall sections on either side at the front of the store. The flooring comprises of smooth concrete, extending to the far end of the premises. the front wall covered in skate deck artworks and related memorabilia forms a colourful backdrop. Given the voluminous space, Supreme’s new store comes with an appealing bonus treat that’s instantly visible upon entering the premises: a legit skate bowl. Location: 152 Grand Street, New York City, New York.
