Stefano Ricci’s exceptional craftsmanship and quality, foundation for development of the company

Florence based luxury menswear company, family owned Italian brand Stefano Ricci has been expanding rapidly, internationally, with several important mono-brand openings in 2012 – Abu Dhabi, Zurich, St Moritz, Beijing and Vienna, as well as 90 sqm shop in shop at Harrods in London. In 2013, Stefano Ricci is opening mono-brand stores in Moscow, St Petersburg, Dubai, Istanbul, Mumbai.

Stefano Ricci recently reported a turnover of 84 milion euros (46,6 percent growth compared to the previous year) and with a ebitda of 18 million (59,3 percent growth compared to same period last year. In a recent interview, Stefano Ricci said ”We have actually decreased intentionally the speed of our investment, in order not to compromise on quality which is vital to us”. He added ”Our demaning consumers want personalized service, so, our team of tailor follow them around the world”. Recently, in order to cope with demand but also with the ever smaller number of specialized and talented tailors, Stefano Ricci has set up its own tailoring school in Florence.

The owner and founder of the company, which is less than two decades old also says that stores are extremely important as windows of the company. The company presently operates directly 25 of its mono-brand stores around the world, including the one in Milan at Principe di Savoia Hotel. A second, directly operated, mono-brand Stefano Ricci is planned for Milan in the near future.
