Starwood to open three luxury hotels in September in China
In September, Starwood Hotels is set to open no less than three luxury hotels in China: The St. Regis Chengdu, Azure Qiantang (A Luxury Collection Hotel), and W Beijing.
The St. Regis Chengdu is part of a larger mixed-use development, Huahzi Plaza, amid a number of nearby shopping destinations, historic temples, and museums. The hotel features 279 luxury rooms and suites with a number of dining choices, as well as two bars.
Azure Qiantang which will join Starwood’s Luxury Collection chain, features 205 rooms overlooking the Qiantang River or the hotel’s gardens. Located in the heart of Beijing near the Silk Market and Tiananmen Square, W Beijing – Chang’An will feature 349 rooms, the interior of the hotel features vibrant colors, patterns, and textures that put a modern twist on traditional Chinese art.
