Italian luxury house of Moncler almost doubled its profit for the first 9 months of 2014, totaling 70.5 million euros, marking a growth of 81.7 % from the 38.8 million sold for the same period of 2013. Consolidated revenues were up 15 5 % to 449.3 million euro. The best performance was achieved in the US (+ 32%), followed by Asia and the rest of the world (+ 28 %).
The retail channel reported revenues of 219.5 million euro, an increase of 25 %, exceeding the wholesale (+ 8%). The company continues to bet on the Asian market, having recently consolidated its joint venture with Samsung‘s Shinsegae International to expand in South Korea. The new partnership will start from January 1, 2015 and the current 12 flagship stores Moncler present in Korea will pass under the control of the newly Moncler Shinsegae.
