Selfridges to launch gender-neutral shopping experience
The line between menswear and womenswear has become increasingly blurred: girls are stealing from the boys, men’s designers are showing cinched waists, and unisex lines are on the rise. So what better time than now to create a gender-neutral shopping experience?
London based luxury department store Selfridges is launching Agender, a gender-neutral pop up shop experience, on March 1 — just in time to stock up for spring. Designer Faye Toogood has designed the concept, which spans three floors of Selfridges’ Oxford Street location, with additional gender neutral spaces in its Manchester and Birmingham stores, as well as online.
