Santo Versace: Made in Italy affected not only by crisis

In a recent interview in La Stampa Italian daily newspaper, Santo Versace, co-owner and President of VERSACE Group stressed how vital is the return to heritage, Made in Italy  being a crucial weapon of luxury brands against crisis. However, Mr Versace insists during the past years Made in Italy has been degrading and not because of crisis, but because of the worsening reputation of Italy – the very bad services of ALITALIA, the dirty streets of Naples and the overall poor status of politics and reputation of politicians. All of these factors add up to the worsening image of Italy in the world.
