Russia’s billionaires increase their fortunes thanks to increased demand of aluminium and steel

FORBES’ World’s Richest Top registers a record number of 1210 billionaires internationally. US remains the country with the largest number of billionaires (over 400), with China coming up very fast (just over 100). Russia’s aluminium, steel and energy tycoons have increased their fortunes in 2010 thanks to an increase in world demand. For a second year in a row Mexico’s Carlos Slim Helu maintains the top position worldwide, while luxury industry tycoon Bernard Arnauld, owner of LVMH ranks as richest French in the world with assets over 41 billion euros.
