Rosewood Hotels to open in Amsterdam
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening in 2018 of a new hotel in Amsterdam in the Prinsengracht area, within the historical building of the former Palace of Justice.
Aedes Real Estate will redevelop the former Palace of Justice, acquired by CTF Development International Ltd, and turn it into a luxurious Rosewood hotel.
The hotel will feature 144 rooms, 118 rooms and 26 suites. Nearly all public functions, visible from Prinsengracht, will be accommodated on the ground floor, creating a lively and pleasant atmosphere. Four catering establishments are scheduled. There will also be six conference rooms, including an impressively large ballroom, all grouped around a spacious and light patio. This will turn the unique and exclusive Pavilion into a flexible and multifunctional location for special and memorable events. The luxurious Sense Spa, the spa and wellness centre in the basement, will have a swimming pool, spa & fitness centre and will be accessible to guests and other users.
