Rosewood Hotel in London opens October 2013 in High Holborn
The Rosewood London will be located on High Holborn in the former headquarters of the Pearl Assurance Company, offering 262 guestrooms and 44 suites to the market. When completed, following a US$ 130 million investment, the hotel will uniquely display some of its original Edwardian features, including the original carriageway entrance to the arrival courtyard and the grand seven-storey marble staircase within the property.
According to Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, “Rosewood London will be a milestone addition to our portfolio, not only as it is in a major European capital, but because the legacy of the historic building itself is a true representation of our A Sense of Place philosophy.”
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts are currently negociating with the owner of the Crillon Hotel in Paris to sign a long term management contract as Rosewood Paris Hotel, when the hotel will reopen on 2015 following extensive renovations and restorations.
