Ralph Lauren hosts children fashion show in New York
Ralph Lauren hosted his childrens-wear Fall 2015 Polo collection in New York this week. Central Park Zoo was transformed into a “Neverland” inspired, adventure-themed wonderland for the event, which saw “Pan” actor Levi Miller walking the runway as the fashion house’s new childrens-wear ambassador.
Showcasing standout looks from the Fall 2015 Polo Ralph Lauren Children’s collection for girls and boys, the emphasis was on preppy American pieces such as herringbone blazers, relaxed sweaters, hoodies and cute beanie hats. Stripes, plaids, cozy layers and city-inspired silhouettes were all on show, with key pieces for boys including sporty styles like jogger pants and vintage-style baseball jackets, while feminine dresses, tartan and leather moto pieces are in vogue for the girls.
The show also honored the one-year anniversary of the Ralph Lauren Children’s Literacy program, which has seen 100,000 Scholastic books donated to Reach Out and Read in the US over the past 12 months.
