Qatar to develop luxury hotel in Tangier, Morocco

Qatar National Hotels Company (QNH) and the government of Morocco has signed an investment agreement to restore and convert the former Tazi Palace in Tangier into a five-star, 120-room hotel.

QNH will invest US$ 55 million into the transformation. Once completed, the hotel will include two VIP villas and one royal villa, a spa, a fitness centre and a business centre, as well as conference and banqueting facilities.

The project  is expected to cover 36,000 sqm, including a built-up area of 9500 sq m and gardens, with an outdoor pool and a golf course.

Qatari Diar and EMAAR are among the top Middle Eastern developers with several major residential and hotel projects in the Northern city of Tangier in Morocco.
