PRINTEMPS opens in Paris high end perfumery space
Parisian luxury department store Printemps inagurates on Tuesday next week, ”Belle Parfumerie” a 2.000 sqm space dedicated to high end perfumery. Along power houses such as Dior and Guerlain, the new space at Printemps will feature more niche brands such as Nasomatto, Honoré des Prés, Frédéric Malle but also the ”forgotten” brands such as Jean Charles Brosseau, Lubin or Coudray. Most brands are represented with shop in shop’s, some having designed specific concepts for the new space, such as Frédéric Malle.
With Belle Parfumerie, Printemps aims to recreate a true luxurious customer experience, staff having undergone special training with each house of perfume, thus enhancing the wealth of information staff can provide. Hermes is one of the major players which has recognized the potential of the Printemps project and will feature at its shop in shop at Belle Parfumerie the Hermessence line, otherwise distributed exclusively at Hermes stores.
With the occasion of the inauguration of the Belle Parfumerie space, Printemps will also launch a limited edition magazine entitled Iconofly, exclusively dedicated to the world of fragrances and will dedicate, for the first time in its history, eleven windows to perfume bottles for the month of October. Printemps considers adding dedicated ”ateliers” areas in the future as well as developing a national museum of the perfume.
