Prada opens new stores in Italy (Venice) and Taiwan
Prada inaugurated last week a temporary store – entirely dedicated to the men’s collections – in Venice on the Calle Larga XXII Marzo. The store, located inside an elegant Venetian palazzo with exquisitely decorated ceilings, will be open to the public for nine months.
Prada has boosted its presence in Taiwan, with a new space in the prestigious SKM Mall in Taichung. Designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, the store occupies a total area of 520 square metres over two floors and presents the women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, and footwear collections. The striking external façade, which pays tribute to artist Carlos Cruz-Diez, features a series of full-length, backlit golden aluminium and polished-steel blades which create an evocative illusion of perceived movement.
