Prada Group reports 14% revenue increase in the first quarter 2013
Prada Group reports first quarter revenues of 782,3 million euros – an increase of 13,9% compared to the same period lastyear and a net profit of 138,2 million euros (+14%. Sales through directly operated retail increased by 19,1% to 678,7 million euros, Asia Pacific being the best performing region with a sales increase of 24,8%.
Among the brands of the Prada Group, the best performing has been Prada with a turnover increase of 18% in the first quarter; Miu Miu and Church’s registered more modest increases in the first quarter + 5% and + 2,8% respectively. The only loss making brand of Prada Group in Q1 2013 was Car Shoe, with a 41% decrease in sales compared to the same period 2012.
