Positive financials for Brunello Cucinelli in Q1 2014
Brunello Cucinelli Group reports first quarter 2014 profit growth of 8,7% to a total of 9.6 million euro and a 12% increase in sales to 99,6 million euros.
The company has achieved a +13.25 % growth in the U.S. , and 16% in Europe , while the Italian market showed a decline of 2.7%. Greater China and the rest of the world saw an increase in sales of 25.9% and 27.7% respectively.
Mono-brand store sales grew by 24% and by 10.4% in wholesale . In the first three months of 2014 EBITDA was € 18.3 million ( +13.5 %) and EBIT of 15.2 million ( +11.9 %).
The company continues its investments and , after 66 million euros allocated between 2012 and 2013, in the first quarter of 2014 the company allocated nearly 12 million to support the development of single-brand stores and expanding the establishment Solomeo.
