P&G Prestige to launch Alexander McQueen fragrances
P&G Prestige, the luxury skincare and fragrances division of U.S. giant Procter & Gamble has announced it has reached an agreement with British luxury fashion company Alexander McQueen to develop and market fragrances under the house brand. ‘Kingdom’ will be the first Alexander McQueen fragrance, which is due to be launched in September this year, followed by ‘McQueen’ in 2015.
“Creating a fragrance feels like a natural progression as it enhances the world of Alexander McQueen. I’m very excited by this opportunity to collaborate with P&G Prestige, to work together to create a scent that captures the unique sensibility of the house,” said Sarah Burton, Creative Director of Alexander McQueen.
At the same time, P&G Prestige also signed a licensing agreement with Stella McCartney, sister brand of Alexander McQueen within the Kering Group, however, details of the first fragrance are yet to be announced.
