Paco Rabanne returns to Paris with new boutique
French luxury fashion house of Paco Rabanne, owned by Spanish beauty giant PUIG which also licenses its highly profitable fragrances, is marking its return to fashion with the opening of a new boutique in Paris.
Due to open early 2016, the new Paco Rabanne fashion boutique will be located at 12 Rue Cambon, the iconic Parisian street which is also home to the headquarters of CHANEL. The 70 sqm Paco Rabanne boutique will likely feature, on opening, the Spring Sumer 2016 collection by newly appointed Creative Director Julien Dossena. Paco Rabanne last had a Parisian boutique more than a decade ago.
Family owned PUIG Group also owns the luxury fashion houses of Nina Ricci, Jean Paul Gaultier and Carolina Herrera. Besides beauty, its core business, PUIG has been increasingly investing in the past years in the revival of the fashion business of the brands it owns.
After acquiring the remaining controlling stake in Jean Paul Gaultier from Hermes two years ago, PUIG has decided to cease Gaultier’s ready-to-wear starting with this year and instead, focus solely on Haute Couture. Nina Ricci also operates one store, on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, the ready-to-wear collections being sold internationally at major luxury department stores.
