Otb Group (Diesel) enters race to buy Belstaff

Renzo Rosso’s OTB Group (Diesel) has entered the race to buy British luxury lifestyle brand Belstaff. OTB Group, a luxury retail specialist, which also owns the Marni and Viktor & Rolf brands, has tabled an offer in recent weeks, according to the Sunday Times.

It comes after Belstaff, known for its motorcycle jackets, was put up for sale in April by its owner, Germany’s Reimann family. The billionaire clan also put its controlling stake in shoe maker Jimmy Choo on the auction block to focus on its food and beverage business. The Reimann family acquired Belstaff in 2011 for £100 million
