Oetker Hotel Collection pursue expansion in the Middle East

The German luxury hotel chain Oetker Hotel Collection (OHC)’s 10 year expansion plans in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) debut with Le Bristol Hotel which will open its doors in Abu Dhabi at the end of  2012. It will be the first OHC-Hotel in the MENA region and outside of Europe. A number of 10 to 15 OHC-Hotels are planned to be built by 2020. Le Bristol Abu Dhabi will have 250 luxury guestrooms and suites and will be located next to the Hotel Intercontinental. The hotel will share its name with the famous OHC-Hotel Le Bristol in Paris.

With about 24,700 employees and a turnover of Euro 9.2 billion the Oetker Group is one of the largest European family-owned companies. Dr Oetker Hotel Collection currently own and operate: Brenner’s Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden, Germany, Hotel Le Bristol in Paris, France – located on the Rue Faubourg-St. Honore, Chateau Du Domaine St. Martin in Vence, France, Hotel Du Cap – Eden-Roc, Cap d’Antibes, France – a hotel in Cap d’Antibes, on the French Riviera. Hotels in the Middle East Africa region will be only managed by Dr Oetker Hotels.

Dr Oetker Hotel Collection’s flagship international property LE BRISTOL in Paris, has recently completed a major renovation plan, adding a new wing of accommodations and a new restaurant. Le Bristol is one of the few luxury hotels designated as a palace, top category of hotels, others being Le Crillon, Four Seasons George V, Athenee Plaza, Ritz Paris. By the end of this year, Le Bristol will unveil a newly restored luxury SPA, adding two major international luxury brands for its facials and body treatments.
