With the influx of Middle Eastern and Chinese travellers, Los Angeles has driven several international luxury brands to set up or enlarge their current flagship stores. Rodeo Drive, Los Angeles’ premier shopping street is gearing up for several flagship store openings this Fall: French jeweller Van Cleef Arpels, French fashion house of Christian Dior, Italian jeweller Bulgari (actually relocating) and Prada which is doubling its existing retail space. Rolex and Patek Philippe mono-brand boutiques opened earlier this summer, adding to existing boutiques such as Cartier, Hublot, Omega.
Also, in Beverly Hills, the Beverly Center Mall will see the opening of several luxury mono-brand stores such as Dolce Gabbana and Hugo Boss. The Gucci store at Beverly Center is currently under refurbishment and is due to be opened later this Fall.
