New downtown concentration of luxury businesses in Bucharest

In a city with no dedicated luxury streets or areas such as Bucharest we welcome the emerging of a new concentration of premium facilities in the immediate vicinity of the Athenee Palace Hilton hotel and the landmark building of the Athenaeum, the most famous concert hall in Romania. It all started with several cafes and restaurants such as Byblos and Galeron and then small concept fashion shops, to arrive to a gourmet store of Comtesse du Barry which recently opened in the area. It is unique area both architecturally but also from the point of view of facilities such as parking.
Unfortunately, the crowning jewel of the area, the IMOD Casa de Moda Bucuresti (former Fashion House of Bucharest during communism) is still in an uncertain legal situation which explains the poor condition of the building which is currently deserted.
