Mulberry hosts ”Brilliant Britain” pop up exhibition in Hong Kong
British luxury brand Mulberry launched yesterday in Hong Kong , its 13-day “Brilliant Britain” pop-up exhibition at its Harbour City store. Curated by independent curator and Wallpaper editor Henrietta Thompson, the touring exhibition is part of the British government’s ‘Creativity is GREAT’ campaign and pays tribute to the country’s creative geniuses.
Among the various talents on display at the Hong Kong store include Chris Bracey a.k.a. the neon man, crochetdermy artist Shauna Richardson, Eribe, a Scottish knitwear design house and leather goods maker Simon Hasan. There is also be a video detailing the making of a Del Rey bag.
Besides perusing the various arts and crafts, you’re also encouraged to send in your own nominations for what makes Britain so ‘brilliant’ at www.brilliantbritainguide.com. Participants will have the chance to win a Mulberry bag filled with goodies from the brands featured in the guide.
