MOYNAT to launch this July pop-up boutique at Galeries Lafayette, Paris
French luxury trunkmaker Moynat established 1897 (owned since 2010 by LVMH) is opening this July, for a six month period, a pop-up store within the Parisian Galeries Lafayette. This is the first such project for the very niche leatherwear maker Moynat, which will be set up in other major cities in the U.S. and Asia, with the aim of briging the brand closer to consumers.
In December 2011, after a long dormant period, Moynat saw its revival with the opening of a spectacular 200 sqm flagship store in Paris on Rue Saint Honore. Moynat CEO Guillaume Davin confirmed to fashionmag.com that LVMH has no intention to put pressure on retail expansiona and that all Moynat products will continue to be made entirely in France, in the company’s two production facilities in Bourgogne and more recently in Drome.
