Recent advertising in luxury print magazines as well as television and outdoor, have placed logos of CHANEL and BVLGARI as sponsors of a summer fashion festival which took place in Mamaia, on the Romanian Black Sea coast in July 2009. None of brands has officially sponsored the event and the placement of logos has been misleading, the only connection being a distributor which has no exclusivity rights over the 2 brands. The correct representation would have been the logo of the distributor, mentioning the brands it distributes, without placing separate logos of same size.
