Mercedes Benz may opt to reduce prices in Brazil amid falling sales

Mercedes Benz, E Classe 2012

German luxury car maker Mercedes Benz has been seeing its sales decrease by up to 35% in the past 2 years in Brazil. This has prompted the company to even cancel the launch of its new model in Brazil.
A survey recently conducted by Mercedes Benz shows the economic downturn is one of the main reasons for the downfall in sales.

The CEO of Mercedes has given an indirect statement recently that the company may decrease the price of their car in Brazil as well as introduce a lower range model car. The current economic environment lead to Mercedes Benz cancelling plans for a commercial vehicle factory in Brazil.
