Max Mara Group reports stagnant financials in 2013
Max Mara Group reports 2013 revenues at € 1.3 billion, broadly in line with 2012. In 2014, the group focuses on expanding its accessories offering and opening new stores in North America and Russia.
Sales in the U.S., the group’s fourth market grew by 40% (fourth largest market after Europe, China and Japan)/ Over the past two years, sales of accessories designer Max Mara increased by 33%. Marketing activities have also been intensified with actress Amy Adams as the new brand ambassador of the brand.
Max Mara confirmed upcoming retail openings this Fall – Miami in the design district of Miami and Canada. The Max & Co Max Mara Weekend recently opened stores in Moscow’s Metropolis Mall will be followed by a Weekend Max Mara store in Yekaterinburg and a second one in the city of Tula. 2015 will see further openings in the CIS countries (former Soviet Union).
The family owned Max Mara Group which employs over 5,000, produces and distributes apparel and accessories under 9 labels including Max Mara, Max &Co, Marina Rinaldi etc.
