Maserati Quattroporte by Ermenegildo Zegna launches at Frankfurt Motor Show
Maserati‘s special edition Quattroporte with interiors by Italian luxury menswear house of Ermenegildo Zegna is officially launching next week at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Zegna has designed the interior of the Maserati in bright, earthy tones, while the paint finish uses ultra-fine aluminium pigments to create an effect that “simulates the fluidity and purity of metal”. Inside, the soft leather and smooth fabric are reminiscent of Zegna’s latest men’s fashion collections.
The concept which will be presented in Frankfurt will use one of Maserati’s current range of engines, either a 523-hp twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 or a 404-hp V6, with both rear- and all-wheel drive will be offered. The price is estimated at $135,000 for the standard model.
The special edition Maserati Quattroporte by Zegna model will be available in select showrooms, Spring 2014, at a starting price of US$135,000 for the basic model.
