Major development plans for Berluti, LVMH’s first menswear brand
A new production facility in Ferrara, Italy (leatherwear, shoes, bags), a new head office in Paris at 120 Faubourg Saint Honore (spread over 6 floors) and a tailoring atelier in Paris at Rue de Sevres (formerly Arnys – recently acquired by LVMH). The future atelier, a flagship for Berluti, is scheduled to open by the end of 2013 and will feature ready to wear on the ground floor and bespoke collections on the first floor. Fourteen tailors will be employed permanently on site at the new flagship of Berluti. The house of Berluti, previously known for high end luxury shoes, has embarked on a major transformation in 2009, when Antoine Arnault, the son of Bernard Arnault (owner of giant LVMH) took over as CEO.
