LVMH signs strategic alliance with CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS

Leading international design school based in London, Central Saint Martins will inaugurate next week a new state-of-the-art lecture theatre in Kings Cross, a project entirely sponsored by LVMH. The luxury conglomerate has also announced plans for a scholarship programme to recruit promising designers from the university for its brands, WWD reports, including Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Fendi, Christian Dior or Celine.

Professor Jane Rapley OBE, head of Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design said: "Our new building allows us to create the highest quality learning environment – a place connected to the most advanced developments in contemporary culture and industry – a place where students and staff will continue to provoke, challenge, inspire and take risks."

Famous designers who graduated from Central Saint Martins include: John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton etc. LVMH Group has a similar educational partnership, with a chair at Paris business school ESSEC, for the world’s only luxury branding MBA program.
