LVMH selling not only KENZO but also La Brosse et Dupont

World’s number one luxury group LVMH started more than 2 months ago the procedures for the sale of LA BROSSE ET DUPONT, company specialized in premium hair salon accessories. DC Advisory Partners corporate bank has been mandated with the sale of the company by July. La Brosse et Dupont has been formally evaluated at EUR 50 million.

Earlier this week, international business media also speculated on the imminent sale by LVMG Group of the KENZO fashion house. Officials of LVMH declined to make any comments on the possible sale, however, business circles close to LVMH’s long time bank Credit Agricole have given the sale as certain. LVMH will likely sell only the fashion and accessories business of Kenzo which has been underperforming for years and not its fragrance and cosmetics division which has been profitable.
