LVMH registers exceptional performance for the first 9 months of 2010
World leading luxury group LVMH posted a 19% increase in its global sales for the first 9 months of 2010, reaching a level of EUR 14,2 billion. Sales in its fashion and accessories division (Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Kenzo, Fendi etc) rose by 20% compared to the same period last year reaching a level of EUR 5,46 billion.
Sales in its fine wines and spirits division (Moet Chandon, Veuve Cliquot, Krug etc) grew by 22% reaching a level of EUR 2,42 billion. The best performing brand of the entire group remains Louis Vuitton. With the occasion of the release of the financial results, the LVMH Group also confirmed it is pursuing its agreesive international expansion strategy.
