LVMH pursues expansion of its hotels

World’s leading luxury group LVMH controlled by Bernard Arnault ventured since 2006 into the hospitality business, with the acquisition of the Cheval Blanc boutique hotel in the French upscale winter resort of Courchevel, known as a favourite destination for the very rich Russians and Ukraineans. The ultra luxury Cheval Blanc has 34 rooms and suites, including a lavish 650 sqm apartment with private concierge and unlimited Krug champagne. The hotel has an exclusive Givenchy SPA with an impressive indoor pool, as well as two boutiques of Dior and Louis Vuitton.

In 2012, LVMH Hotel Management is scheduled to open two new locations, one in Oman on the private island of Alsodah (32 villas) and in Egypt on the private island of Amoun (40 suites).
