Luxury brands pursue retail expansion in Paris this year
Paris Rue St Honore and Faubourg St Honore are concentrating most of the luxury store openings this Summer, with several new store openings: Valentino‘s brand new Parisian flagship (second in Paris) opens on Place Beauvau (on Faubourg Saint Honore) this Summer; Valentino’s first store on Avenue Montaigne re-opened last month following extensive renovations and refurbishments. Berluti, Boucheron and Moschino are also opening mono-brand boutiques this summer, on Faubourg St Honore. Berluti will open a second new boutique in Paris later this year, on e de Sèvres, in Saint Germain.
After the closure of Krizia‘s Parisian boutique on Avenue Montaigne, early this month (the 200 sqm store was sold to LVMH for 10 million euros), rumours in French media indicate that Pierre Cardin is seeking to sell its store on Rue du Faubourg St Honore.
