LOUIS VUITTON to increase credibility as a luxury watch maker
Louis Vuitton‘s first luxury watch collection called ”Tambour” was launched in 2002 and has since expanded from quartz movement watches to haute horologerie mechanical timepieces. The new lines included ”Speedy” in 2005 and the ”Emprise” in 2008, culminating with the launch of ”Tambour Mysterieuse” – the first watch entirely made in the brand’s factory in Switzerland. The company will participate for the first time in the prestigious watch exhibition of Basel World which will take place at the end of March. Instead of a space within the main exhibition hall, Louis Vuitton opted for a canal boat which will be docked in front of the ”Les Trois Rois” hotel.
