Louis Vuitton appeals to controversy in its new communications campaign
A new short movie directed by James Lima for British ‘Love Magazine’ featuring a model from the Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2013/2014 catwalk show, earlier this month, in Paris, sporting several looks from the collection, including make-up and the wig that all models wore at the show. The video which was released virally last weekend has been sparking controversy, some interpreting its message as promoting prostitution and degrading women. On YouTube, the video has not been posted neither by Love Magazine, nor by Louis Vuitton, but by a private user. In 6 days since it was posted, the video had over 260.000 views.
