Leading Italian luxury e-tailer Yoox reports 23,9% jump in net profit
Leading Italian luxury e-tailer Yoox Group reports a 23.9% increase in its net profit, to 12.6 million euro . The EBITDA of the company ‘s retail fashion and design reached 43.1 million , an increase of 34.2% compared to 2012 .
For 2013, net revenues totaled 455.6 million (+21.2% ). The e- tailer has, on average, 13.2 million unique visitors per month, from 13 million a year earlier. They go from 2.3000000 to 2.8000000 orders , the average value of which amounted to EUR 215 ( 206 ) . Active customers have reached € 1.1 million, up from 947 000 in 2012.
In the fourth quarter of 2013 , Yoox’s consolidated net revenues increased by 24% to € 136.3 million (+28% at constant exchange rates ) . This growth reflects the 29.6 % posted by the company’s online multi-brand store and the acceleration recorded in Europe ( +31 % in Italy and 26.8 % in the rest of the area) . Quarterly EBITDA amounted to 21.6 million euro , an increase of 33% and profit increased by 34 % to 9.1 million.
Yoox is also the exclusive operator of the e-stores of Zegna, Gucci, Armani and many other luxury fashion brands.
