Latest luxury offerings in the sky by SWISS AIR
SWISS AIR‘s new Boeing 777-300ERs will feature a host of industry firsts. Conceived by leading design house PriestmanGoode, the new seats are a natural evolution of Swiss’ award-winning cabins – but with more space, more storage and greater privacy. There’s a 50% increase in personal storage compared with the previous first class seat, including dedicated storage for amenities.
The colour palette throughout the cabin has been updated to richer, more sophisticated tones, while keeping very much on-brand for that unmistakeable Swiss look and feel – even in the entrance to the Boeing 777, which is a little more like a reception area.
The First cabin will boast the largest (32-inch) individual screens, alongside individual wardrobes, electrically operated window blinds and furniture that moves to create what the airline describes as individual suites for each traveler. Business Class customers will get seats that can be adjusted cushion by cushion for comfort and that recline flat to the same length as a standard bed.
The first Boeing 777-300ER in SWISS AIR’s fleet will enter service in January 2016, with routes including Hong Kong, Bangkok and Los Angeles, plus some flights to San Francisco, São Paulo and Tel Aviv.
