LANVIN expands in Russia and Italy
French luxury maison LANVIN is scheduled to open its first flagship in the Russian capital of Moscow. The store covering 240 sqm will be a franchising operation. Lanvin operates another mono-brand stand alone boutique in the city of Ekaterinburg, within Limerance shopping centre. CPP has learned of plans to move the existing store and enlarge it. Lanvin has been widely present in Russia through various multibrand and concept stores, including cities such as St Petersburg, Kazan and Ufa.
This month, LANVIN also inaugurates its first flagship in Milan, a 100 sqm space strategically located on the corner of Via Spiga and Via Santo Spirito. The new boutique reflects Alber Elbaz’s concept of a private apartment feel with a mural library. The maison which already has a boutique in the summer resort of Forte dei Marmi, plans future openings in Rome and Bologna by the end of 2011.
