Located in the foothills of New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo range of the Rocky Mountains, four miles from the Santa Fe Plaza, this historic resort was first opened to the public in the 1920s but traces its history back to the 1870s when it was first settled by Bishop Jean Baptiste Lamy. It will be Langham Hotels and Resorts’ first resort in the United States, boasting 317 acres, including private stables and trails for horseback riding. The renovation will include the demolition and re-modeling of the existing rooms and public areas at the property, as well as new construction to expand the hotel to 139 rooms and suites.
