Lamborghini unveils new showroom in Los Angeles, South California – the biggest market of the brand in the U.S.

Italian luxury carmaker Lamborghini inaugurated yesterday a new showroom in Woodland Hills, California. The inaugural event featured the presentation of several of the Italian brand’s newest super sports cars, including the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, the Gallardo LP 560-2 50th Anniversary Edition and a Super Trofeo race car.

“Southern California is the largest market for Lamborghini in the United States, and it’s always a pleasure to visit with local enthusiasts,” said Stephan Winkelmann CEO Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO. “It is the passion of our clients in Los Angeles, along with the dedicated management of the dealership, which will make this new location a wonderful addition to our west coast network.”

At approximately 3,880 square feet, the North Los Angeles showroom is situated on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills. The Aventador Roadster is the newest open-top version of Lamborghini’s flagship vehicle. With a 700-horsepower, 6.5-liter V12 engine, the Aventador reaches 62 mph in less than three seconds and boasts a top speed of 217 mph. Other cars on display include Lamborghini’s newest V10-powered race car the 2013 Gallardo Super Trofeo and several historic vehicles from the 1960s and 70s.

Fiftieth anniversary celebrations have taken place throughout the U.S. and in Europe this year, including the Lamborghini Grande Giro, the largest-ever Lamborghini tour event, which stormed Italy earlier this month. Stops along the 350-car tour included the cities of Milan, Rome, Bologna and Lamborghini’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
