Following an extensive restructuring process which included closing of a logistics centre in Seine-et-Marne in 2009 and a reduction of its work force from 600 to 400, French crystal and glass maker LALIQUE registered in 2011 its second profitable year, with a 25% growth in its turnover reaching 50 million euros.

Thanks to a 13 million euros investment in increasing its productivity and expansion of its retail through franchising, especially in Asia and Middle East, Lalique expects sales growth in 2012. Strategic partnerships with other luxury brands such as Montblanc and Bentley as well as diversification have also been contributing to the revival of the iconic French brand.
