Kering (PPR) completes acquisition of Pomellato for 300 million euros

French luxury group Kering (formerly PPR) is reported to have completed the acquisition of Italian jeweller Pomellato, the transaction backed by Mediobanca being estimated at 300 million euros. The Pomellato Group includes two brands Pomellato and Dodo, the first positioned within the fine jewelry segment and the latter within the accessible jewelry segment. The group’s distribution network includes 86 mono-brand stores (45 Pomellato, 41 Dodo) as well as approximately 600 independent points of sale around the world. Following the acquisition, current Pomellato CEO Andrea Morante will retain his role.
