Kempinski opens new hotel in Delhi, without The Leela, its strategic partner in India
Situated in the Shahdara neighborhood in East Delhi, India’s capital city, the new Kempinski Ambience will open its doors by the end of September. The new Kempinski was designed by Hirsh Bedner Associates (the architects behind the Mandarin Oriental in New York, Washington, and Miami) is a three-dimensional Mondrian-like structure in shades of gray. This 480-room property will include dual pools and a ballroom, probably the largest in India, which can host up to 6.000 guests, ideal for a major wedding or business event.
This is Kempinski’s first opening in India under the Kempinski brand, without its strategic partner The Leela Hotels.
